It’s been a while since I last brewed, mostly due to not having the time and space to do it. With having kids around and no safe space to brew inside it’s taken a back seat. Also I need to lose some weight, as since I injured my foot I haven’t wanted to exercise, but I still eat like I do.
Excuses aside, it’s getting to the colder months so I think it’s time to rebrew a favourite that’s I’ve only made once. The Supernova Red Ale. It’s a nice full bodied beer with an ABV of 5.8%, and sitting at around 44 EBC which is bang on for a red ale. Perfect for a cold winters night while watching the All Blacks.
For some reason I didn’t take a photo last time, which is a surprise as the beer was a stunning rich ruby red colour, So I need to remember to take a photo this time.
